Victricius of Rouen

Victricius was the son of a leginarii and was made to join the Roman army as a young man. When he became a Christian, he was beaten and sentenced to death but somehow avoided martyrdom. He was a missionary to Britain and served as bishop of Rouen for the last 20 years of his life.
