John Vianney

John Vianney was a parish priest of Ars, France know for his moral healing as a Confessor (one who hears the confessions of others). The patron saint of priests, he was drafted unsuccessfully into Napoleonās armies two times. His views on suicide were controversial; he told a penitent that her husband was not in hell despite taking his own life.
