If you've been scrolling through my channel and you see like nerdy theological scriptural stuff on the one hand, and then like veterans legal VA advocacy stuff on the other hand, you might be wondering how they connect.

Well the way that I've come to where I am now is by refusing to accept the indignity visited upon me by people in the church, in legislative bodies, in federal or state agencies, in Academia... And that kind of got me where I'm at now, where I think, and I will show in a three-part series that I'm going to post on Building a Better Future for Military Families. I'm going to show how some of our own bias (if we're not military families, if we're not veterans, or soldiers), I'm going to show how civilians can sometimes inadvertently, through unconscious or implicit bias treat soldiers and veterans and their families as less than human. So I hope you'll join me in this three-part series How to Build a Better Future for Military Families.
