Thomas Bennett

CPL Thomas Bennett was a deeply religious conscientious objector who enlisted as a field medic. On February 11, 1969 he was killed in action in the highlands of Vietnam while attempting to reach a battle buddy and provide medical assistance. He was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for this and other actions in combat.
