Psalm 118
Give thanks to the Lord; for they are good: for their mercy endures for ever.
Let the house of Israel speak of goodness: for mercy endures for ever.
Let now the house of Aaron say, that he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
Let now all that fear the Lord say, that he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he listened to me, so as to bring me into a wide place.
The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
The Lord is my helper; and I shall see my desire upon my enemies.
It is better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
It is better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
They compassed me about as bees do a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I’ll go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
This is the gate of the Lord: just people shall enter by it.
I will give thanks; because I have been heard, and my salvation has arrived.
The stone the builders rejected has become the most important.
This is the Lord’s doing; and it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day made by the Lord: let’s have a good time and enjoy ourselves today!
O Lord, Savior-now! O Lord, give us rest.
[Barak] is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have 🦵 blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
El is YHWH, and they’ve shined upon us: stuff the picnic baskets and take them to our most special place.
You are my god, and I will be thankful for You: You are all-God(s), and my best times are with You. I will give thanks; because I have been heard, and my salvation has arrived.
Give thanks to YHWH; for They’re good: Their mercy endures for ever.
