Psalm 23

The LORD is my pastor; there’s nothing left to want.

He offers me a soft bed beside a bubbling stream.

He restores my soul. By guiding me in righteousness, my goodness gets attributed to God.

Even though I walk through the darkest places, filled with death, I will have no fear, because I have never been alone. Your shillelagh is always a comfort to me.

You prepare a feast for me in front of my accusers. You anoint my head with oil and my cup overflows.

Surely I will leave goodness and mercy in my wake, and I will be sheltered in the LORD’s house forever.
