Psalm 16

Keep me, O Lord; for I have hoped in you.

I said to YHWH, You are my Lord; for you have no need of my goodness.

On behalf of the holy ones that are in his land, he has magnified all his pleasure in them.

Corruption is a disease that can spread quickly, as when some do worse things after being healed. I would never assemble their bloody meetings, I will keep their names outta my mouth.

The Lord is both my wine and the cup that holds it: You restore what’s mine to me.

Property lines have fallen in my favor, yes, I must have the best luck.

Five stars to the Lord who has taught me; even at night, I can learn from my dreams.

YHWH is always in front of me; they steady my right hand so I’m not shaken.

Therefore my heart leapt and my words were full of joy; I know my entire being shall rest in hope:

because you will not leave my soul in dark despair, neither will you allow your godly folk to spoil.

You have made known to me The Way of life; you will fill me with joy by your nearness: I am meant to delight by your right hand.
